Planning Tirupati-Chennai In Oct 12 Last Week

Dear Friends,
I am planning to visit Tirupati in last week of October. A 7 days vacation. Can any body suggest good locaions and respective travelling and visiting time. As far as my homework is concerned I have planned Tirupati- Chennai.

You have not mentioned mode of travel from Delhi. If it is train, include a visit to Srisailam. Srisailam is 2nd Jyotirlanga out of 12. It is about 450 kms from Tirupati. Your return journey can be from Hyderabad which is about 220 kms from Srisailam.

Or, go to Hyderabad to visit Srisailam first then proceed to Tirupati. This way you can visit Chennai as well.

Should you opt for travel by air, you can include Madurai as well.

Oh...I forgot to state that I use to visit religious places only. And give my opinion accordingly. Please wait other IM's response for many other options.

Thanks Vishal for your guidance. I would also like to visit Srisailam. But know present scene is like this that I have confirmed (railway) tickets from Delhi to Tirupati and than Chennai To Delhi. I do not mind in cancellation of these and booking fresh..... And now searching options on net as suggested by you. Any further guidance from you and other members is highly appreciated, I have total 8 days (incuding journey time) with (+)(-) one day........
