Is Falaknuma Palace open for tourists?

Has the palace been converted into a heritage hotel already? Is it open?
Where is Shadab restaurant located?
Does it serve its famed biryani only for breakfast(as per Wikitravel)? [ http://wikitravel.org/en/Hyderabad ]?

Falaknuma, to my knowledge, is generally closed for visitors.

Shadab is in the Old city. Dunno about breakfast.

Shadab is close to Charminar and Salarjung Museum, ask anyone and they will point the way.

Biryani is a lunch or dinner dish. I think the Wiki-travel page is talking about Jabda Ghosht, which is a goat head curry / soup. I haven't had that one at Shadab though.

Somebody told me that the big F is open by prior arrangement about once a month. That is entirely second hand and I would appreciate more info like who to contact..

the F. palace is shut to the public.I know b/c I was refused entry.
