How to reach Kanchanbagh

I have to attend DRDO interview during second week of November
at DRDO complex Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad. I am from Chennai. I need information about stay near Kanchanbagh and how to reach the place from railway station.pl.

Kanchanbagh is about 8-9 kms from the Hyderabad (Nampally) railway station. Click on the link below for directions:

You can can find a lot of hotels near the railway station in the Nampally area. Please refer to the IndiaMike hotels section for recommendations.

Always a pleasure buddy! I tried asking around for information about which buses ply between Nampally/Afzalgunj and Kanchanbagh, but didn't get any definitive bus numbers. Will post on this thread if I find more info. Anyways you can always hire an auto-rickshaw. Don't pay anything more than the meter reading.

(And no need to call me sir, we are all fellow travelers! Just vko or Vikas will do. )

First up, good luck with the interview.

You better reach a day before and start early. If you want to take a city bus ( I would say NO, because the route is extremely busy as DRDO side is packed with educational institutions).

Also, all the three possible routes available from Nampally are busy. I would say take the chadarghat route. More frequency of buses.

102, 102D, 105, 72D or look for any busy which has these THREE letters on the left side top of the city bus MDN (Midhani)....all the buses with MDN on it will pass through DRDO.

Good luck bro. Best is to take a AUTO. shouldn't cost you more than Rs 100/- from the railway station (nampally that is)...

if you are getting down at kachiguda railway station, distance to travel would also be less by bus and by auto.

Don't get down at secunderabad, it will be hectic and you will be exhausted by the time you reach DRDO.
