Help - Looking for guest house/hotel in Hyderabad

Hi all

I've tried asking this ? before but haven't gotten many good options. still looking for a modern but afforable room for a single woman reporter travelling to Hyderabad for several weeks for work.

I'm willing to pay up to $60 a night for a single room with modern bathroom and I need to be able to get online easily from my laptop. Safe location a must. I'll coming Feb. 25.

Ideally would like guest house or small hotel as the business hotels seem to charge $100 and up.

Also, how much is it to hire a car/driver in Hyderabad and does anyone have recommendations for good companies? I'll be travelling to villages for my reporting.

I thought that you had got the Amrutha Castle for $35?? Not happy? Personally I would not really recommend guest houses coz some of them are supposed to be seedy - you know what i mean. Some are good and used by corporates (Zion Guest House for e.g.) but not really in a great location from an accessibility point of view. Kuna's Guest House is also fairly OK, location is probably not very safe from a tourist point of view.

I had mentioned Ohri's service apts some time back in this. Costs about $90 a day. I will try to have some more inputs for you in a couple of days.

i would recommend a good place in heart of city by name Krishnas residency in Lakdikapul. the rooms are awesome..
and the price is also resonably good.
