Elephant experiences near Hyderabad
Can anyone recommend a place to ride elephants (National Park,etc.) within 1 to 2 hrs. by car from Hyderabad?

The Hyderabad Zoo may have something.

Went to the zoo about 5-6 years ago, and you could ride an elephant, albeit in a communal fashion; several people on either side of the 'seat'. I think I read recently on the website that you could now do so individually, so worth investigating.
