Please can anyone point me in the right direction of a thread on India Mike I’ve had a look , but can’t find one)....on a train trip that I ve heard goes through the Eastern Ghats, maybe starting near Vizag in Andhra Pradesh …I may have got it all wrong , but I’m sure there was something about a narrow gage train going through the jungle …

I'm sure it's the thread in the first reply you're looking for, but the Vishakhapatnam-Araku-Koraput-Jagdalpur-Kirandul line is broad gauge, do use First Class (non air con) on this route, a great way to travel.

However, the reason for this reply is...., there was a thread about a narrow gauge train going through the jungle, a new luxury train from close to Nagpur (if I remember right), the plan was scrapped, but reports in the last few weeks say that the train will start running soon, If this is the train you're talking about, let me know and I'll find the thread, I'm tired now and just can't think of the right words to use in the search engine.

This one? Jungle safari train with five-star comfort.
