Cycling from Bangalore to Hyderabad

Dear IMers,

I'm currently in Mysore, having cycled here from Mumbai and am planning the next leg of my journey for the rest of this month. I am very keen to visit Hyderabad and possibly continue further north up into Chhattisgarh.

Can anyone recommend a good route with interesting scenery through Andhra Pradesh from Bangalore to Hyderabad?

Please refrain from worthless 2 cent posts about the dangers of cycling on Indian roads, etc.

Any knowledgeable sources out there who can recommend routes. While I see that NH7 and NH6 pass inland or along the coast, respectively, I'm interested in traveling through smaller b-roads, especially if the traffic on these highways is excessive.

I'm especially interested in routes that pass through interesting sites and beautiful scenery or points of special interest. I appreciate any suggestions.
