Bhavani Island Resort - Feedback

Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Vijayawada and am contemplating spending a night at the Bhavani Island resort (APTDC). Wanted to check if any of you have been there, and if so, how the island and resort are. Is it the kind of relaxing peaceful place it is made out to be? Is the island resort worth the cost -Rs.2000/night? Or are we better off spending the night at Vijayawada, and just going to the island for a few hours?

Last time i was there was around 13 years ago as a kid. We just went for a day trip and i did find it very peacefull... not sure how it is now !

Thanks for your feedback, kalrav! Yes, the island is still very peaceful, especially during early mornings and late evenings!

you can spend really a good time here.it will be peaceful.
Mr.Kalra 13 years ago there were no resorts here in Bhavani Islands.They were just developed 7 to 8 years back.
