Hi - I was wondering if any of the IMers could give a first hand account of this place near Vizag. Heard that it is a good place to head to. Can anyone give details on :

Weather,Best time to visit
Accomodation facilities
Sightseeing places

Have not visited here, but heard it s a small hill town in Ap suitable for visiting thru out the year. There is APTDC resort there -tariff around 1600 rs per night. One can visit araku, tyda and rushikonda from here.

Dear mkrishna,

Ananthgiri is an all weather place, you may visit any time of the year, however, most of the people visit it as day trip from Araku Valley.

When in Annathgiri, you may visit Borra Caves.

It has an APTDC resort as well as many private hotels for stay.

i am travelling to vizag in the 2 week of may. Will drive up to ananthagiri and check out the place a bit.
