Accomodation in Hyd for 30 people

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any guest houses/ serviced appartments that can accomodate 25-30 people for about 10 days? Not looking for anything too fancy- just clean accomodation- having a restaurent/cook would be a plus. Budget around 3,500 rupees per night?

Thank you!

It should cost you less than that. Closer to 2500, I think, for a double bedroom- unless rates have gone up in the last few months

I do know of one place, let me see if I can dig up the contact details, and ask them first if they can accomodate so many people- dates would help.

Food(cook) etc is extra. Rooms are airconditioned, more than decent, with TV etc. Perhaps even internet/wifi, though not sure.

Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with this place, except that a few people have stayed there and been overall satisfied.

I would look at looking at hiring a few 3 bedroom aprtments, it is cheaper, plus the living room is large and can be easily slept in by a couple of people... they have many apartments so availability should not be a problem if booked in advance.

With such a large group over so many days, you have bargaining/haggling power.

It's in Banjara Hills, an upmarket and central part of the city

... I have stayed there, thanks to last-minute arrangements made through the Captain's wife.

It is an apartment block, divided (what else ) into apartments. Ours had two bedrooms, but we were the only occupant. If not, we would have had to share the common part, but, so what? One has to share everything in a hotel outside one's own room too!

It is very well furnished, very comfortable, and I think a comparable hotel would be a lot more money.

There are kitchen facilities, with a microwave, and tea and stuff is available from room service.

The large living room the Capt reffers to is almost as big as my house!

Gets a recommendation from me!

On the bargaining, I wouldn't settle for less than 25/30% off listed prices. Perhaps even more.
