Srisailam accommodation

Any idea which of the cottages would be the cleanest and better ones to opt for?
How good are the soma cottages?

wonder if these are the cottages inside the sanctuary. They were kind of incomplete a few years ago.

I visited Srisailam last month and stayed at "Alluri Sitarama Raju" dharmashala. It's better and cheaper than any hotel and also very near the temple. You don't need to be a trustee/member to stay there. I didn't see any cottages anywhere. I hear the Devasthanam guesthouses that Khak mentioned are good too.

I didn't like the food anywhere in the town.

There are direct buses from Tirupati to Srisailam run by APSRTC (over 11 hrs journey). Or, you may opt to take a train to Kurnool, and then catch a bus for Srisailam.
