Spice Jet from Kolkata to Port Blair and IslandVinnie

Hi there,

Anyone tried SpiceJet airlines to get to Port Blair?
I booked a flight for mid February 2008.
Do you know if this airline is reliable? Anything I should know?
I will be staying at IslandVinnie dive resort? Any usful info on that location also appreciated.

I flew Spicejet recently on a shorter flight, from Varanasi to Delhi. It is an innovative modern lowcost airline. Service is fine. You can look forward to a nice trip.

Hi Curial,

Spicejet is a reliable airline. Note that it is a low-cost airline and meals are not included in their fare. They do offer snacks and beverages on the flight, but you have to pay for them in cash on the flight. Also be sure to buy your snacks as soon as they are offered on the flight, as snacks are loaded in limited quantity on the flight and may be sold out before the flight attendant reaches your seat.

Drinking water is served complimentary on all SpiceJet flights. I have no idea about the diving resort as I have never been to Andaman. By the looks of it though, you will have a great time there! Hope that helps.
