neil island price hike

Just in case you are thinking of travelling to Neil Island,you may wish to know that Tango Resort have increased their prices by at least 75% from last year.I called them on the phone yesterday to comfirm what i had read in the Andaman and Nicobar admi site and was told by the manager that the prices may increase even further still. Tango is OK for a basic doss place but is void of charm unlike some of the other "resorts".
The overall quality of the "resorts"on Neil Island is in the 3 out of 10 bracket,OK for budget backpackers but not worth the money Tango is asking.
