Is it necessary to prebook catamaran and accommodation in Port Blai
Is it necessary to prebook the catamaran between Port Blair and Havelock Island? I'll be traveling in early May and was told I could book the catamaran after arrival at the airport (for the next day). Was planning to do that but accommodation problems suggests there are still many tourists then.
Also, any suggestions for accommodation in Port Blair? I'll have 2 kids with me and was wondering whether to stay Hotel Megapode Nest for the grounds, or whether I should stay right in the town. The first day we will just have an afternoon to see around (and one full day before flying out).
