Honeymoon in Andaman

Hi,

We are planning to go to Andamans for a Honeymoon in March. I had the few questions about travelling and staying there, please guide me in that.

1. I read in the forum about the ship service to reach, but they are all old posts. Can anybody guide me about the recent ship services how they are ? So while going we can go directly by flight and coming back come in ship.

2. In andamans, which is place where we should book hotels ? Port Blair or Havelock Islands ? I was guessing as the good beaches are in Havelock it would be good if we stay in Havelock for 3 to 4 days and 2 days in port blair.

3. Which are the good hotels in 1 to 3 star category ? If anybody have been there please suggest and what will be the approx. prices?


4. Is there a Veg. Food easily available ?

5. If you have a recent itinerary for the visit please share it with me.

6. After andamans we were thinking of going to munnar, or some place south, for 3 to 4 days. So any suggestions where should we visit?
From Chennai or Vishakhapatnam which will be the best way to travel to kerala ? (Train ???)

Hi,

I found that dolphin resort is pretty nice, if somebody have the contact nos. please post it. (Any other suggestions ??)
