Firstly i would like to know the weather condtions out there , is the rains still on , Some advice if i decide to stay Neil
how is the weather out there. I am not looking for sunny weather in the months like November or December but dont want the rains to spoil the day for some snorkelling and other fun.
Heard The rains are still on intermittently, and usually continue into october.

We have 2 weeks plan to stay Neil at your or havelock , we require std
huts twin sharing basis ( with or without attached toilet ) @ and get the PDAI Certification done for 2 guys , was wondering whats the best price one could offer

Will connect

Cheers ,
Vinod

Hi Salvia.. The weather stations predict scattered thunderstorms for the next 10 days at least. That should not spoil your Padi coarse or snorkelling, but please be sure to ask the dive schools the whereabouts of curret free locations.Be safe.

Try A & N Tourism , there offer/rates are STD and value to money :-). Seashell is good, Bay View Inn also OK , but far from Radhanagar Beach ( but you can take bike / scooter / bus). Barefoot @Havelock is costly , but there BAR and restaurant is more or less same rate as Bangalore :-)

DiveIndia website claims that they have seen some of the best marine life during Aug-Nov. If that's true, it shoudn't really affect your diving plans i guess. I was there during Dec 08 and the conditons were just perfect, contrary to many who said that the seas would be choppy during Dec. I have some info about havelock diving on my blog, if you are interested.

Dive India would say that because it is their quiet season. It is motivated by their commercial interest. The sea is a bit choppy in December, sometimes a 2 meter swell(and i have spent the last 2 complete Decembers in the Andamans so i feel justified to comment)But the diving is still very worth doing. Jan ,Feb and March are much better diving conditions, calmer sea and better viz.

Martinez,

Can't really comment on the Aug-Nov season since i have not been there during that period. Dec is a bit choppy, no doubt. You may have to endure a bit of spray while on the boat and the bouncy boat in the swell can be a bit of annoyance while getting in and out. But other than that, it was great diving for me. Viz was good and so was the marine life. Next time, Feb-March would definetely be my choice.

We are planning a trip in November 2nd and 3rd week(scuba diving). My fingers are crossed.

Any strong suggestions to postpone?

None, you should be well ok on the dates you propose. Your dive company will inform you otherwise.
