Cancelled KF flights...and a Havelock question

Hello there.

Me and the lady booked flights from Chennai to Port Blair a couple of weeks ago and I've just found out that they've been cancelled (or are "subject to operational change" as the very nice Kingfisher Airlines man told me). Luckily I managed to change the bookings for the next available flights. I thought that some people who read this might like to know, on the off chance that they were also booked on the same flights. The details of the CANCELLED Kingfisher flights are:

Flight IT 3631 Chennai - Port Blair - Tue Apr 7 - 4.30am
Flight IT 3634 Port Blair - Chennai - Fri Apr 17 - 12.20pm

Which leads me on to my question - we'll now arrive at Port Blair at 1.30pm (instead of 6.30am). Is there a boat to Havelock that we can realistically get on the same day?

Our flight for the return leg leaves at 2pm - are there any boats that leave Havelock early enough to make that flight?

Hi, see www.and.nic.in and look at the inter island section of the helicopter and ship schedule,you will find that which you are looking for. But i would recommend your first stop after the airport is to the jetty to see if there is another boat, or to get your tickets for the next day. It can sometimes be difficult to get same day tickets anyway,especially since the cops have been making occasional visits to the jetties to make sure boats are not over crowded.As this is in the name of safety it must be a good thing!

I'd be staying a night in or two in Port Blair, leisurely strolling down to the wharf (arrive 8-8.30am) & lining up. Ask your lady to line up for tickets as ladies' queue is shorter usually and a bit more orderly. Havelock is not my favourite island but any time spent in the Andamans is such a worthwhile experience. Good luck!

i have a flight with KF-
IT-3633 chennai - port blair thur march 5 - 10:00am
how can i check that KF didn't cancel it?

because on their website everything seems to be ok.
