Andamans in november

Hi .
I am heading for the beaches for at least a month.
I am thinking of catching a flight from calcutta to portblair in the next week or so.Can anyone tell me what the weather is like at this time of the year and if the dive schools and fishing charters are operating.I am also thinking of going straight to Goa but since i'm on this side of the country i am hoping that the isles would be the better option.can someone please point me in the right direction .

The Andamans have a monsoon this time of the year. Goa should be a better option now. And then you could head to Andaman towards mid-November.

Hi:

I'm heading to Madras on November 10th with my son.
I know it's monsoon season but I'm wondering if I should consider postponing the trip due to the rains. We will be traveling a few hours outside the city for part of our trip and we heard that some of the roads were washed out.

Help, we need some local advice. Should we postpone or go ahead based on weather conditions.
