Andamans in June?
Hi
I hope someone can help me, I'm thinking of going to the Andamans in June - am I a fool to consider this or can we expect some good weather? Thanks Sonia |

Welcome to Indiamike Sonial. No June is not a good time to go to the Andamans. Rains may spoil ur trip.

This is right in the rainy season - you will be the only tourist there, and all the guest houses will be closed. Definately the wrong time.

I was there in June 2002 (beginning)for 2 weeks , and no rain at all. Yet the sun was strong, although not too hot.
Hardly any tourist, but this was just perfect like this! The only horror was the 5 days boat' trip from Madras in shallowly seas in moonsoon time. I'm soon going back (May) but with airdeccan this time  |
