Andamans full
Just found that article:
http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus...0610100314.htm It seems that andamans are full of tourists and accomodation is (very) hard to find. They say, reason for this is the introduction of low cost flights to Port blair. Can anyone confirm that??? |

Yep it certainly was full over Durga Puja and Divali. In Port Blair budget accommodation was impossible to find and Havelock was crowded too.
I've just left Port Blair this morning and it is much quieter. The locals tell me there will be a brief lull in early November before things pick up again. The North East monsoon has started but it's nothing much to worry about at the moment - just a bit of rain mostly at night. |
