andamans: a chance for nudism?
andamans: a chance for nudism?
Hi there!
We would like to spend some time at the andamans. But anyway, we hate bathing-suites / bikinis
So we´re looking for a place where we can sunbath without.
Note please that we do not want to disturb anyone or make trouble.
As there should be some very lonely beaches on the Andamans, do ya think we have a chance for nudism there?
Thanks!
Tom & Klara

Some years ago I met some travellers who did it on the Andamans - proobably on more isolated beaches.
But anyway, as far as I know it is forbidden. I´m not sure if anyones cares...
May be AndaMan could tell his opinion.

Actually there is no permitted nude beach. And nudity in general place is prohibitted in India. You may get into trouble if get caught. But in a really lone beach you can try

arent there some private nude beaches somewhere in goa.. did hear abt them,...
Any deserted beach with minimal population should be ok. Just be generally sensitive and keep a towel and/or quick pull over clothes nearby. I would say you need to be more careful of people crowding around you rather than offending people around..
Most of the fishing communities are so poor that they pull the strings toghether for a meal let alone worry about being culture police, etc... So use your sense here and be careful.
I would rather limit my thoughts here as there is a LOT of undue interest in this subject!!!
