andaman in Sept

Hi. Planning on visiting the islands in mid-sept. any ideas on how the weather is going to be. also some suggestions on places to visit.

We would prefer the backpacker deals and staying in huts on the beach.

Hi there.September is a bit on the early side . Weather will be mixed,sea will be strong.All the other things you wish to know are covered in previous threads,and very extensively.
Backpackers usually "do it by themselves",by that i mean you will not find a travel agenty selling back packer packages,that is really the antithesis of back packing. Just go and do it.Get there and look and ask around.,take what suits you. There will be very few others, so pricing should be very flexible.
Not really knowing what tommorow will bring is a good place to be,if even only for a while.Let the world unfold for you rather than trying to unfold it yourself. Happy travels.

Thank you for your words Martinez. I realize that backpackers are the "do it yourself" variety and that is pretty much what I'm looking to do. Its just the matter of digging deep and doing it.
But come September and I think it might just happen.

My main concern is that rain might play spoilsport in September.
Also, are the shacks open on Havelock in September.

Hello again,i am sure plenty of places stay open all year round on Havelock. Should be very relaxing at that time too!
