Where can leave luggage while visiting the Taj?

We should arrive in Agra at 6.10am from Varanasi and would like to go directly to visit the Taj before the crowds arrive our problem is that we'll have to medium sized suitcases and a trolley. Is there somewhere we can leave tham at the taj or will we have to go via our hotel and drop them off there?

Another question I've noticed there's also an earlier train that leaves from Varanasi the Pnbe mtj express it only gets in 30 minutes earlier than the Marudhar. Would this be a better option?

Yes ! There is a luggage room.

You can take only your Cameras and Phones with you to Taj. No other electronics is allowed, not even iPods.

I am sure that a left luggage facility would accept suitcases.

I would say they'd accept a trolley too, but we get some really *cough* interesting questions on here; perhaps you had better tell us how big this "trolley" is first...

Is it just a small folding thing to carry your suitcases on, or is it a hand cart - or even larger!?

It's the type you take as hand luggage on the plane so not very big. I knew they took everything except a camera in to custody but I didn't know if you could leave luggage.

They'd probably take an elephant if you gave them a nice tip.
