Tour operator - Delhi to Agra and back in 1 day?

Hi everyone!

I will be in Delhi on business in October, and I would love to extend my stay for 1 day and visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Is there a tour company I can book this through? I would like to do the trip in 1 day (no overnight stay in Agra). Since I will be travelling alone, it would be nice to do this trip with other tourists.

I know that doing it on my own on the train or with a taxi would be cheaper, but I think I would feel much more comfortable having a set tour, even if it means paying more for it.

Thanks for your help!

You have a beautiful username!

On another thread on this topic, IM member jyotirmoy names Southern Travels, Nam Travels and Panicker's as operators who do this kind of group tour services.

However, Aishah (another member!) has done the Panicker's tour and hated it.

If you put "Panickers" into the search box (top right) you'll find some of her posts about it.

Good luck!

What's in a name ? A rose by any other name and all that sort of thing...

Since you will be here on business, ask your business associates - they will get you a far better deal than you can manage by individually dealing with supposedly established tour agents. Don't be shy about asking for their help - they would be glad to do so.

Yes, I was named after a witch

Thanks for the information and the tip to ask my associates. I didn't want to bother them with my tourist question, but they will probably be happy to help.

To note Ceridwen- Namaste India Tours don't do group tours. They are a car tour operator and if you choose to just travel alone, a good choice. They don't do what you're asking for, however
