Tickets for the Taj
Tickets for the Taj
I have read in a guide book that you can only purchase tickets for the Taj at leaset 24hours before wanting to visit. Is this true? I hope not as I am in and out of there in less thatn that. PS I know it's closed Fridays!!

I think the 24-hour rule is only for the (unsuccessful) 'Taj by Moonlight' tickets, sadly the 24-hour rule is one of the reasons it proved unsuccessful.

Lines and full moon.
When I was laeving the Taj Saturday June 11th, the line for tickets was 70 meters long. I think it was a full moon that night, but I did not know they kept it open so late. Even my guide did not want to tell me that... I think he wanted to get home. I had a 8:20 train. Do not reccomend any guides that "master" sets up via his taxi service.
