taxis in wee hours avail. at agra cannt?

We are arriving into Agra Cannt stn just after midnight.(a group of 5 adults in early August...I know, its the wet season) Do you know if there will be taxis available from the station to take us to our hotel? thinking of staying at hotel Tara palace.

Try to get your hotel to send someone to the station to pick you up. Most hotels will happily agree as the touting scene in Agra is quite bad.

Thanks for the tip, Baba I will give that a go. Have found the posts here very useful to assist in the planning of the future trip to mostly, nth india. Does anyone know if a bus from Chandigarh to Manali leaves after lunch? or do they only depart in the mornings? We are 5 long legged adults and fitting us into one average sedan size taxi not possible. Are there any van/SUV taxis available in Chandigarh?
