Any families out there or any one who saw families at Taj Mahal please tell us if we can take baby's milk bottle in a tiny cooler on to the Taj grounds? Also do they allow a stroller or a baby carrier (similar to kelty baby carrier)?
On a related note, do they let you gate check the stroller when boarding a domestic flight?
Thanks!

Stray thoughts & worth all that was paid:

A stroller is generally less useful in India than say a back carrier.

The Taj doesn't take much time to see anyway. You are only allowed into 1 of the the 3 floors. Its approxomately an hour. Food items are restricted although when I was there a decade ago, I was allowed all but a bag of potato chips (much appreciated by the staff). You can certainly try since infants & small children are beloved in India..

Babies usually have a gap of (at least)3 hrs between feedings.

Try to schedule the trip in between feedings. Taj will take maximum 1 hr to 1.5 hrs. Its usually very crowded and not really the place to lesisurely sit and enjoy beauty.

(out of all the Agra monuments I like Sikandra and Agra fort the best.)

In India most places will allow you to carry a baby bag(with diapers, changing mat, flask with hot water, baby formula and bottles), but for the Taj its best to leave the bag in the car and go back to the car once the baby starts getting frisky.

I agree - keep the milk/formula in a cooler in the vehicle & forget about the stroller.

Yes, you can check stroller at the gate while flying. Generally speaking, with streets not always paved or uneven pavement, strollers can be more trouble than they're worth.

When my kids were little, I never took a stroller or pram to India. Not worth the hassle, in my opinion.
