Left Luggage at Agra

I want to leave my luggage while I visit the Taj.
I'm arriving at Agra Cant and leaving later in the day from Agra Fort.

I understand you need an 'onward ticket' to leave luggage at the railway station.

Can I leave it at Agra Cant station even though I'm departing from Agra Fort?

Does Agra Fort station have a 'cloak room' for luggage as Cant does?

Are the lockers at the Taj supposed to be for phones and other 'small stuff' rather than baggage?
Thanks.

I'm sitting in a cybercafe in Agra, (Rs15 per hour, rather than the thieving Rs80per hour they asked near the Taj).

This morning I put by backpack in the cloak room on platform 1 (I think) at Agra Cant station, all portions of my pack that contained anything had to be locked, the cloak room is situated at the north end of the platform next to the entrance/exit, this platform will be on the left (east) side of the station as you enter when you're coming from Delhi.

I'm about 99% sure there will be a cloak room at Agra Fort station.

What train from Agra Fort?

The Gwalior - Jaipur Express calls at Agra Cant before going to Agra Fort.

No you don't need an onward ticket.

Thanks for the replies and the good information. It's train #2988 to Jaipur and I have an e-ticket to board at A/Fort. When I booked the ticket I was unaware it called at Cant also.
I think I'll invest in a lockable cover for my pack.
