kathmandu to agra??

hey everyone...

just wondering if anybody has done any overland travel from kathmandu to arga?? if so was the transport realiable? is there conecting train lines? and how many days would u allow to do it?

any info would be great!

Hmm... no I haven't, but (apart from reports at IndiaMike no doubt if you search around some), you'll find some details on the Delhi and Varanasi routes here: http://www.seat61.com/Nepal.htm#Delh...rain%20&%20bus

None of that is ever guaranteedly up-to-date of course. There are no trains all the way that I know of no, I'm quite sure of it. Nepal itself features next to no railways for that matter, I believe.

There's also a train from Gorakhpur to Agra (Fort or Cant station, can't remember, try Fort first.)
