is the taj mahal open on jan 1st
i'll be there over n year and dont want to find its closed on new years day

Yes, it is, unless it falls on the day of the week the Taj is usually closed.
Anyone know what day that is? I want to say Fri or Mon. |

Taj Closed on Fridays
Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. A recent client of mine tried to go on an operational day but the Taj was closed due to "VIP visit from some PM from Myanmar". The closure was only for portion of the day thankfully but she didnt get to see the Taj at sunrise or sunset due to the logistics of the day.
So if you do have some extra time it might be worth it to spend the 2nd as well if there is such a closure on the 1st. |
