Not overated at all
Here's my 2¢. Arrived at 8:15am by train, checked into hotel and started our tour with our guide. We saw the Taj from the hotel, from the fort, from the gardens across the river. Everywhere you look the Taj is somewhere on the horizon. Went to the Taj at 5pm..went throught the gate and was stunned by how beautiful and perfect it was. I was there mid September so mostly Indian tourists. Went back the following morning at 6am. About 60 people were already there, as our guide got our tickets, the guards waved us through. We spent 15 minutes completly alone with the taj at sunrise - a Fantastic experience and a lot of picture taking trying to capture at least one tiny part of the experience, but like the Grand Canyon or the first flight on a plane, its impossible. We all know its one of the new 7 wonders of the world, but it also got the highest votes...so it is number one out of the 7, on your visit you will see why.
