Is it possible to see Agra & Mathura in 9 hours ??

Hi,

We are planning to take the 2808 train starting at 08.40 from delhi and arriving at 11.30 in Agra Cant.(We cannot take the earlier trains, as we arrive in Delhi very late around midnight or 1 am and so prefer to have few hours sleep).

Now we would go back to Delhi by the evening shatabdi at 20.30. In these 9 hours is it only possible to see agra or can we have time to squeeze into mathura also and then take the shatabdi from mathura instead of Agra ??

How do you plan to reach Mathura from Agra? Well you can do both easily if you travel from delhi by a car. Train journey could be a bit taxing straight after previous day's flight.

Agra is approx 58 KM from mathura and not possible to see Mathura.

When you will reach Agra go strait to Fatehpur Sikri than back to Taj Mahal & Red fort that place is near by Agra railway station to reach in time to catch train evening for Delhi.

Thanks crunchyfrog. I've dropped my plan for mathura and we are only sticking to Agra.
