Name of place is Mathura and not Madhura.
In stead of depending on any travel agent you should better depend on yourself, everywhere hiring vehicle on your own, would be better and cheaper.

In my humble opinion, if you ask for some advise, you would be receiving every type of advise. You will have to filter what suits you best. If you treat it as a lecture, then sorry, you need not visit open forum where advises flow like this. You treat edwardseco's advise as lecture as you have not visited the place. Once you visit it, you would understand the logistic of these places!
And, please don't treat this as lecture!

I agree with you, we have to be in open mind to look for advice but comparing with something else cannot treat as advice. More over I am not treating yours as lecture as it related to subject but if someone compares 6 RS experience with Tajmahal which cannot be treated as good as your comment.

I know a Western sense of humor sometimes eludes the Indian mindset – "two different worlds we live in." I wonder if the Western use of metaphor similarly fails to translate to Indian sensibilities? In addition to which there are some crusty old curmudgeons who would indeed relate the Taj to a 6 RS experience, of whatever sort.

Do you want to see anything or just drive through? You can see Agra (Taj Mahal, Agra Fort) and Fatehpur Sikri in one day, but nothing more.

You can, and many do.But even then you'd be nipping right along. Even though I'm not a fan of the place, we spent a full day at the Taj and thought we'd barely got the job done. Half for the Baby Taj and the fort was not quite enough. Half a day for Fatehpur Sikri will do, I think, but only because the Jama Masjid is there to occupy your attention if Akbar's lifeless city gets boring.

Realize also tour companies and travel agents will be geared to zipping you around places at a pace that no one can humanly hope to copy on their own. That is their job, and they have the logistics at hand, and are doing it all the time.Whether that will then be a good experience or not depends on that agent, and no doubt on your expectations of it. (Do ask yourself is what they offer realistic at all. There are day tours from Aurangabad taking in both Ellora and Ajanta. So while those exist, it doesn't mean it would be a worthwhile experience. They're in different directions, and that's just too much in a day, no matter which way you look at it, and no matter how "organized" or not. I know they proudly promise to even take you by Daulatabad fort on the way, btw -- that's right, to the foot of the hill it lies on, with no time for the two hours or so needed just to climb up and back down, or so to actually see it.) Many indeed complain about tours where they felt they were just rushed around the place, with too litle time to actually see or enjoy anything. Of course, some other tours come better recommended.
But so you want to be shown around at the highest pace possible and with the least of logistics to have to look into yourself (not to mention just so where do we have a bite and how long will it take to get served, how do I haggle down this rickshaw ride to a reasonable price, etc.), go with such a tour company or agent. You want to do it by yourself, allow for a realistic pace that you're comfortable with. (Personally, I can easily spend half a day or at least several hours at many of these sizeable monuments, and now that I'm there anyway. When, indeed, will you have the chance to be there again. Of course others would find that excruciatingly boring.) --> And note Agra I've never been, so can't comment. The usual advice seems to be one night and the better part of two days to see its main monuments. That does NOT usually include Mathura, nor of course seeing anything of Delhi as such, if that's what you meant. Then my understanding is Agra is full of much lesser-known monuments, which would no doubt merit a much longer stay. Except for many report not liking the city much, for it being so congested and hasslesome with touts and stuff.

I wouldnt suggest it. Taj Mahal + Agra Fort and perhaps stuff like Baby Taj all in one day. Fatehpur sikri next morning i would imagine, but maybe you can squeeze that in on the same day. Seems much to me
I can't image doing more if want to SEE something more.
You must come to Agra night before and start you tour at sunrise then you can visit more places as you must do it before sunset as everything will be closed by then.
