golden triangle tour
Is it possible to cover Fathepur sikrri and baby Taj in half day?.
How long will it take to finish Agra fort?
How long will it take to finish Agra fort?
When we visited (in 2005) this area we had a car at our disposal for the transport.
We arrived in Agra late in the afternoon.
Next day we start around eight and visited the Taj Mahal, the Red Fort and the baby Taj.
Next day we went to Fatehpur Sikri, stayed there for some hours and then continued to Bharatpur.

Most of the monuments in Agra are open till sunset.
Still too much on your plate.

Sikri is not en-route between Mathura and Agra. Second and third Aarosh's point.

I had been to Bharatpur and Agra in September 2011. If it helps go through my trip report, Agra Trip and Bharatpur Trip

I was at Vrindavan n Mathura recently with mom for 03 days. Hence I'd suggest stay for the night at Vrindavan (we were at radhey shyam Ashram close to the Isckon temple). Next early morning visit the Banke Bihari temple and Rang ji ka Mandir. Later drive to Mathura for Krishna janam bhoomi temple. After that you can drive to Agra. In case you wish to hire an A/C car try Marico Tours, Delhi. their contact number is 09810348379. If you can let us know what budget you are looking for we might as well suggets you about the hotels.
Happy Journey

If your son is a Krishna devotee don't upset him n do take him at least to the Krishna Janam Bhoomi temple at Mathura. Yes Barka you are right I really want to include Mathura.I am not a frequent traveller so I don't want to miss it.I am OK to skip couple of monuments to include Mathura.I have 6 days and 5 nights I need to plan wisely .
priya you are expecting too much in just a week. Make up your mind with few places. You will end up ruining your holiday by doing too much and coming back home tired. When I went to Taj Mahal with my gf. we spent most of the time at Taj Mahal. Enjoyed the architecture and saw the whole thing in detail. We had few hours left so went to Agra fort. It was touch and go. But one thing i tell you I enjoyed Taj Mahal more because i spent more time and grasped the beauty of it. You will remember your first trip all your life so make it worthwhile. If you stick to few places and spent a good time you will enjoy the place. Going just for just "BEEN THERE DONE THAT" would not make it worth going.
Hi I got few quotations from rental car agency.we are a family of 4 ( 2 adult a and 2 kids) pluus my moter. But my mother chance of this tour is only 50% .So not sure whether to go for Tata indigo and Toyota Innova for 5 nights and 6 days.
Bobbu thankur rates are. 12000 rs plus tax ,toll and parking for Tata Indigo and 15000 rs plus tax, toll and parking foy ToyotaInnova
Pitambara offers 15000rs includin everything for Tavera.
Didn't get the rates from nearly 4 to 5 agency.
Do you think the rates are nominal
