Getting to Taj Mahal from N. Delhi before sunrise

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum. This is my very first post.

I am planning to visit Delhi and around for 4 days, from 1st to 4th of Dec. (yes I know, it's too short a trip, but that's what it is at this moment...) and would love to take some sunrise photos of the Taj Mahal.

I am planning to stay all of the 4 days in a Hotel in Delhi. So I guess I would have to take a night train (if available) from Delhi to get me to Agra fairly early to catch the sunrise at 7:00am.

Otherwise I would have to sleep one night in Agra and get up early to catch the first rays of the sun...

What would you suggest?

you have to sleep in Agra..because the trains would Hardly take 3 hours to each Agra from Delhi...

So if you have to reach t 6 AM then you have to start at 3 AM, chances are there would be no trains available at that hour..ad even if they are then its not advisable for various reasons...

Its better you stay a night in Agra..

The last train from Delhi to Agra is train 2722 (DAKSHIN EXPRESS), which departs H Nizamuddin at 22:50 and arrives Agra Cantt at 01:50. That's a long wait until dawn.

The first train is train 2138 (PUNJAB MAIL), which departs New Delhi at 05:30 and arrives Agra Cantt at 08:50.

You're better off staying in Agra.

Some more inquiries:

1. Is Taj Mahal far away from the Agra train station?

2. If I reach Taj Mahal early, before its opening hours, can I approach and take some pictures or are there high fences that hide its view from the road?
