(full moon) night viewing of the Taj Mahal
woohoo!!!! so i read that "There are night viewing sessions on the nights of a full moon and the two days before and after (so five days in total)." and we just happen to be there on the first day of this 5-day-night viewing period!!!
just wanna find out more info: do we have to pay extra for this? if so, how much? and what time does the night viewing go on till? (read that the taj normally closes at 7:30pm) |

The viewing time for Taj is from Sunrise to Sunset. After that people cannot stay in Taj.
During Full Moon people can visit Taj during night. For this they have to purchase the ticket a day in advance. If the 2nd is a Full Moon and you want to see the Taj you would have to buy the ticket on the 1st. You can not get a ticket on the 2nd. |

I cant see the contradiction between our posts
They are answers for 2 diffetent questions. And yes, if you want to visit Taj at night - you have to buy the ticket at Archeologic Survey of India (with your passport details in it) the day before the visit.By the way - if you left Taj territory in daytime visit, you cant go back inside with the same ticket, you have to buy the new one. |
