| Dress code????? First I have heard of a specal dress code to visit the Taj? Wear whatever you normally wear when you are in India. The only bit of advice I have is take a pair of socks with you if you are visiting in the winter months. You need to leave your shoes at the foot of the stairs when entering the Taj and the marble freezes your feet without socks. | |

| When I was there, I wasn't aware there was a dress code. Anything you feel comfortable wearing in town should be fine. | |

| Dress conservatively (especially if you are woman)wehen visiting site of religious importance. While the Taj Mahal itself is not a mosque, their are mosques on the grounds. | |
