Delhi to Agra Train NOT SO EARLY

Is there a train from Delhi to Agra not so early?
Like anywhere from 11:00 am until early evening???
I see some from NZM, but I am not certain where that is. We will be staying at the Master Guest House.
Thank you.

NZM is Nizamuddin, well within the city. Transport will be no problem. About half an hours drive from New Delhi Rly Stn/Connaught Place, or a little less than that.

Try http://www.indiagroove.com/ ; for good measure, check results with the official site at http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/ .

I'm not checking for you, but I'm of the understanding there are many trains throughout the day, and it isn't very far.

ps Sorry, what I said is easier said than done if you don't know your way, as both Delhi and Agra have several stations. With a bit of toggling around all their stations you should be able to come up with something though.

I don't know Agra so can't help you; what I said about there being many trains I believe to be true. I'm sure someone will presently be along to fill you in, or search this site some; a good start would be Train information , scroll down a little there.

Another site to check is http://www.trainenquiry.com/ , again, refer back to official site to confirm findings.

There are many trains from Delhi to Agra.

As Machadinha says, just go to India Groove and search for train from New Delhi to Agra Cantt.

There's a very useful train - the Goa Express - which starts from Nizamuddin (so it can't be late) at 15:00 and gets to Agra at 17:45. I think the quota for 2A is only 10 between those stations, though, so you need to book reasonably early.

For the slightly adventurous: Since it isn't very far, I've heard it said this may be a good stretch to try your chances in Unreserved Class.

If this is true, I couldn't tell you; maybe others can. Could be a busy route I reckon.

(ps Thanks for station name Mickey, throws up a bunch of results indeed.)

I also travelled by Kerela Express. It leaves New Delhi station at 11.30am & reaches Agra Cantt. at 2.20pm. Plz carry some food along with u as u'll need it if the train runs late. We reached Agra at around 4pm travelling by this train once.

We are a family of five traveling from Delhi to Agra. I think the Shatabdi express will work best. We are traveling to Agra on Nov. 2 and leaving the following day. I know the two express options on Friday but cannot figure out the Sat options to come back. We would like to come back in the afternoon - any suggestions?

Or does anyone have car/driver recommendations for the trip?

u can check www.indianrail.gov.in for details regarding trains. The station code for Agra Cantt. is AGC & New Delhi is NDLS. At the site click on the `Trains between station' link (found at the bottom of the page.

For car/driver better take help of the hotel reception.
