How much does it cost to reach taj mahal from the cantt station..
What are the options.?
Right now on train to agra..

If you can go to Kashmir without a guidebook, Cant station to the Taj will be no problem.

That was not right..
India mike was my guide book during my kashmir trip..
I got answers fatafat..
The only problem was the non availability of roaming in kashmir and hence the lack of gprs..

It took me around 20 mins in morning to reach Taj from Agra Cantt by auto.I hired an auto for Rs200 to cover Taj, Fort. But still I believe my lack of ability in bargaining costed me 50-60 bucks extra. Must be lot cheaper if you go by shared auto, local bus and will cost multiples times if you hire a AC SUV.

Your answers are apt and to the point -- always.
I am bringing a group of 40 students on an educational tour to Delhi -Jaipur - agra in the month of Jan. we have one day allotted for Agra. Please suggest how to hire a bus from the station for the site seeing and to be dropped back at the station. Is it advisable to hire after we reach the place or is it necessary to book now itself? Please suggest some reliable tourist agents in Agra who could do a decent job for us.

Agra cantt station is just 7 km from Taj Mahal. To reach Agra, if you take the regular autos, it will cost you just Rs 5. But if you hire a auto than it will charge Rs 40 or more than this. Its mainly depend on your bargaining skill.
