You can book a ticket through http://www.irctc.co.in/. Just register and book the ticket. Navigation should not be very difficult. In case of 1st AC, there are coupes as well as cabins (coupes have only two passengers and cabins four). Go through the sticky thread of steven in Indian Railways forum. It cannot be guaranteed that the other two would only be women. But passengers who travel 1AC are generally well mannered and hence no need to worry on that. However, in the Agra-Varanasi route, there is no train with 1AC - the best you can get is 2AC which is also very comfortable. You can book the ticket through irctc and pay by credit card. Just select any one payment gateway (axis payment gateway is what is recommended by foreign tourists). there is a sticky thread on this also in indian railways forum. |

What code is personal (or 4) cabin A/C?
Is 1 A/C a cabin, or is 2-tier A/C coach a cabin?
I am on your site now, but can't discern the correct way to go. |
