Anyone stayed at Rose Home Stay ???

After many research, it seems most guesthouse or hotel near Taj Mahal have very extreme comments. I found the Rose Home Stay (21 Old Idgah Colony, www.rosehomestay.com) Anyone stayed here before, any comments?

Not that i am aware of! however most motels there are very much the same and offer similar packages. What part of the month are you there in Agra?

I will be in Agra in mid-Nov. Most motel / B&B at Agra got diverse comments from Trip Advisor. Rose Home Stay seems a good alternative.

Hey, no homework is worth than feeling the heat ... Bang on! just pack you bags carry your essentials, and hit the durt, you would be fine, ppl do take a lil advantage but you can count on your basics....if u r 1st timer, it is going to be a fatabulous experience, diverse culture and loads to see.... do share your experiences buddy!

r shum - it's allright. I have been there once to visit someone - a friend was staying there. Nothing great but hey nothing bad too. well located it is.

What's yr budget ? min / max - will suggest you the best place then. I am a localite.

Out of the hotels - Atithi, Kant, Ganga Ratan are pretty nice and all excellent location on the main road near the Taj.

Budget Rs500-800/night for double room. AC is not a must (in mid-Nov right?) Looking for basic, clean, safe and well located (either close to Taj or Idgah bus stand), no luxury needed. Any suggestions? Tks.

At 500 - 800 your only safe bet is the rose home stay.

I'd say go for it - I think their charges are close to 800 - 1000 for an AC room

Hi anybody got an idea of a cheap decent place to stay near Oberoi Amarvilas? How far would it be from the Taj in terms of walking distance or auto?
