Any Agra attractions closed on August 15th?

Hello IndiaMikers,

First-time poster here with a quick question.

I'll be in Agra on August 14th and 15th, and I was concerned that some/all of the things we want to see are going to be closed for Independence Day on the 15th.

Is this something I should be concerned about? I'm mainly thinking of the Taj, Baby Taj, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri.

Welcome to Indiamike, KidMidnight!!

If I remember right, it's closed only on Fridays and should be open on 15th August.

Everything did seem to be open on the 15th - we managed to see the Taj, Fatehpur Sikri, and Sikandra with no problems.

(Well, no problems except for the obnoxious throngs of hawkers and scammers at various locations, but those seem to be par for the course in Agra.)
