Agra in a day (taj + fatehphur sikri?)

i'll be taking train 2002 frm new delhi (6.15am) to agra cantt (8:12am)and heading straight for the taj and will spend abt 2 hrs there (gathered frm reviews that this is sufficient). as i'm intending to take train 8631 at 8:25pm frm agra cantt to sawai madhopur on the same day, think i'll have time to cover only one more attraction in the noon. should i go for fatehpur sikri or the agra fort or baby taj? can someone advise me how to go to fatehphur sikri?

If you hire a full day taxi , you can do all of them ie; Taj Mahal , Agra Fort , Baby Taj and Fatehpur Sikri - easily in a day with lots of time to spare . You will be free by 5 pm. For passing time till your onward train , there is a good Cafe/Restaurant COMESUM on platform No. 1 inside the Railway station. It's a favourite hangout for foreigners.

how much will a full day taxi cost? is it inclusive of a guide?

It will approx 1200/- to 1500/- depend on the Car you use. Guide costs are extra.

Oh, don't worry, they'll find you.

There are dozens of them who hang out on the fringes of both monuments. You might want to try and arrange a government-approved guide for best quality.

Yes do hire a Govt. certified guide. You can ask for one at the UP Tourism/Indian Tourism offices. I remember having seen one UP tourism booth on Railway Station itself.
