I got scammed in another way. I got into good contacts with a guy from Haryana. We were making planns about how to setup a real working business. I left India that time.
During more than one year time we spoke about the possibilities of doing business and i got so many ideas. Once i came to him back I found out that he wanted to get around 50.000 Rs from me and that he wasn't at all willing to do any cooperation. But it took me months to find out his real intentions. Happily He didn't get this much money from me and the little money i borrowed from him I get back as he gave me checkues. This just openen my eyes about Psychological terrorism.

This is very unfortunate I would suggest that you speak to the Individuals who gave you the gems and suggest that he takes them back and cancle the charge on your card. Also if you dont feel comfortable call him to your hotel rather that going to the shop of the dealer. Be firm that if he dose not do as you say your will file a complaint with the police. Pleople like this spoil the name of India and we are a proude nation if you need help my friend is a lawyer I could put you intouch with him and you could be intouch with me through this forum.

Lightbulb Agra for Taj mahal, no jems please

hi guys,

If you are a Tourist visiting Agra, what would you prefer ?
you have three options =

1- Visit Taj mahal through government authorised or travel agent guide

2- Involve yourself in gems earning business or consider being rich,( on a tourist visa) as LOTTO 649 is not available in india, to get rich quick, as most westerners are addicted too.

3- be extremely foolish , to talk to strangers and morever go to thier house with them,( FAKE BOGUS CONTRACTS, PROMISES) and let the world now about your level of knowledge alongwith the artificial intelligence, you have, by posting here.

There is good and there is bad, the choice is yours, as life is.

so , the moral of the story is -

Look before you leap !! ( i learnt that in grade one - As india is the second largest english speaking country in the world after US)

Namaste !!

Or #4 just go and keep your brain intact. Its evolution in practice, the gin soaked are preyed upon by the "artists" and culled out from the herd..
