Agra From Delhi -- In A Day -short Time Available!!!!!!!!
We arrive in Delhi from London Heathrow Friday 10/10/08 @ 06.15 and want info on getting to Agra & back to Delhi the same evening.
Price is not the main concern so a private hire would be ok for 2 of us but realibility is very important as we fly out to Kathmandu Saturday morning the 11/10/08. Is the Taj Mahal even open on a Friday? As an alternative we arrive back in Delhi from Kathmandu Saturday 18/10/08 @ 10.55 and would need to get back for the Sunday 02.10 flight back from Delhi to London. |

Hi Taj Mahal is closed on Friday, You can visit on saturday either by Car or Train
Car will cost app Rs. 4500 for two persons for a same day return tour Train : Morning 6.10 AM : Shatabdi Express New Delhi to Agra Evening 7.30 PM : Shatabdi Express Agra to New Delhi App Cost Rs. 400 per person one way for AC Chair Car including snacks and bottled water |

A cab will get you there in 3-3.5 hrs. So if you leave around 8 you are looking at getting there by 1130 or so....can spend the entire day there til 5-6 and be back in Delhi by 9 or even later depending on your preference.
The road is good with very few bad stretches but traffic can be a bit heavy though. |
