Agra Fort Rail Station to East Gate Taj Mahal

Hi.

Arriving at Agra Fort rail station from Jaipur and would appreciate advise on the best way to travel to Hotel Taj Khema in the non-vehicle zone about 300m from the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal.

I'd like to take a pre-paid taxi (if available) so that I dont have to haggle. Is there a pre-paid booth? If not, what's reasonable? I've read that an electronic bus runs from Agra Fort itself to the Taj every 30 minutes for only 4 Rp - but I would expect that this route would be to a closer gate on the Western side. Any info on this service?

Also, any comments on the Taj Khema Hotel? Although more expensive that other rooms (1575 Rp incl tax) we have booked the room President Clinton stayed at in 2000 where he signed the environmental agreement to reduce pollution around the Taj. I understand that the garden has a good view of the Taj.
