Agra attractions at the weekend.

is the taj, red fort and fatehpur sikri considerably busier at the weekend than say for example on a monday?

Am trying to work out whether its worth planning to avoid being in the area on saturday, sunday time and instead delay my arrival until the monday.

That's correct; you can always expect a little extra busier at these places & traffic on highways. Monday's would be lesser crowded.
