Question aagra-Mathura-Fattehpur ... trying to decide few things

Hi.. I am going to these places for first time with my husband in January, surprising him with Taj mahal on his bday (18th). we will be flying to India in January. what is the best place to pick up cheap way from Delhi to aagra so that we can cover sunrise at taj on 18th.. we mostly will be living at Hotel Sheela for 3 days 17th,18th,19th and on 20th planning to take train to jaipur in night. (I don't know which one, is there one?) what is the best way to cover vrindavan, fatehpur & agra by staying at hotel near Tajmahal. I am little nervous as this would be our first international trip, don't want to get robbed by ignorance and lack of knowledge. Thank you in advance for replying me. Any Info would be helpful.

While you traveling from Delhi to Agra , Mathura/Vrindavan is before Agra ( Approx 55 Km ). So my suggestion is that stay in Mathura/Vrindavan 1 day then next day go early to Agra (=55 Km approx)

For Rail btw Agra and Jaipur check http://erail.in/
Also there are lot of Bus btw Agra and Jaipur run RTDC ( Silver line white line etc , that run from near by Id-Ghah Bus stop )

Your idea to view Taj Mahal at sunrise is very nice. But if you want to visit Mathura and Vrindavan, than you must these places before 17th. By the evening of 17th reach Agra.

There are numerous state and private run luxury coaches that ply from Agra to Jaipur. So you can board on them also.

my change in dates as i read the replies..

Thank you jolly mazmudar and Brijvasi for replying. I have changed dates .. so I am flying to Agra on 15th, N stay at agra hotel near tajmahal for 3 days.. 16th we are going to fatehpur, trying to see Buland darwaza, Diwan-I-Khas,Panch mahal, Jama masjid and tomb of salim chishti.. don't know what are the places most tourist like to see in fatepur.. 17th we will be going to vrindavan, trying to cover krishna janmabhumi, Krishna balram mandir, Kusum Sarovar Mandir.. is there more in vraj to see?? my husband is fond of sculpture arts and stuff. but we only have a day to cover vraj.. and 18th we will cover agra returning to Delhi on 19th to see Akshardham and Red fort and touring ahead to Haridwar/rishikesh and back to Jaipur. Hopefully this will workout fine.
