A view from our porch

This is a view from the porch of our house, on the beach in Anjuna in the late seventies. In the early seventies, it had been known as the 'Peace house' because of the peace sign that was painted on the roof (by American draft dodgers I believe -Vietnam was still raging, at that time and there were lots of Americans then, who didn't want to kill anyone, so escaped to India).
