A couple of steam cooked hot IDLIs (white) Doughnut shape deep fried VADA (brown) CHUTNY the cooked coconut paste (white in the cup) SAMBAR cooked vegetables & spices (red in the cup)
The IDLIs & VADA served on a green banana leaf piece (don’t eat this!). This cost me about 12rs. In the South steel plates and cups predominant on the table. The multi dimpled steel plates are very interesting. Depends up on the types of meals served they have plates with up to 8 dimples!
